Drives for transmitters MTA 10KW e 25KW

In 2015, we started our activities with the installation of drive in old MTA™ FM transmitters, FM10000 and FM25000 models (see photos and down). This project had the support and approval of the engineer João Eduardo Ferreira da Silva, from MTA™, and it will cease once the exchange of 4CX250 valves, leaving the transmitters with power more stable and eliminating the oscillations caused by weakening of the auto self-excitation valves. This drive uses only one transistor of high reliability and resistance, supplied by conventional source, with powering connected to the transmitter soft start system. The module has its system of protection of SWR switched to the transmitter control and any irregularity it will make the transmitter shuts down that will provide an indication in the control panel and reading in one of the gauges to indicate the best tuning point. Finally, this amendment will leave these transmitters more modern, insurance, providing an excellent cost benefit and tranquility related to its full operation without the former concern with the exchanges of 4CX250 valves.
